It’s a great season for Tech in Port Harcourt. The City is still very fresh from Startup Port Harcourt Week and ofcourse Google DevFest. It had previously hosted StartupSouth2 and Port Harcourt Developers Hangout. She also hosted a Microsoft training in November. Now OlotuSquare – Port Harcourt’s latest Tech Hub wants to teach residents how to code at DevExpo.

According to Bruce Lucas, CEO of OlotuSoft and promoters of OlotuSquare (which is yet to take off), DevExpo’s objective is to add to the pool of talents readily available for tech projects in Port Harcourt.

DevExpo is a 3-Day hands-on practical event offering web and mobile Development. Web development will teach participants to design beautiful websites using latest technologies while Mobile development will cover – android application development for smartphones and mobile devices.

At the end of the exercise, promising talents will be absorbed into the firms pool for further training and projects.

DevExpo starts on December 15th through December 17th, 2016. To register, Go Here – there are only limited spaces left.

Why does this matter? Programming is the new Literacy! Port Harcourt youths can’t afford to be behind their peers in other regions.
